The journal “EcoSoEn (Economics and Social Sciences)” publishes original and unpublished articles presenting the results of scientific research in the fields of economics, sociology, psychology, engineering, information technology, and related disciplines.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must not have been previously published or simultaneously submitted to other journals.

Articles are published in Romanian, Russian, English, French, and German.

The journal is published quarterly (four issues per year) in both print and electronic formats.

Publication Fees

Submission, peer review, and publication of articles are free of charge. The journal does not charge authors any fees at any stage of the publication process.

Article Evaluation Criteria

All submitted manuscripts are evaluated according to the following criteria:

• Compliance with the journal’s scope and thematic focus;

• Scientific originality and relevance;

• Methodological rigor and academic quality;

• Clarity, coherence, and logical structure;

• Relevance and completeness of references.

Special attention is given to whether:

• The title accurately reflects the content of the article;

• Keywords correspond to the main topics of the manuscript;

• The introduction clearly presents the research problem and its significance;

• The literature review demonstrates sufficient knowledge of existing research;

• The results are clearly presented and scientifically justified.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process and are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with recognized expertise in the relevant field. During the review process, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain strictly confidential.

Prior to the peer review stage, all submissions are screened for plagiarism using specialized anti-plagiarism software to ensure academic integrity and originality.

Following the initial editorial assessment, manuscripts that comply with the journal’s formal and scientific standards are forwarded to external reviewers for evaluation.

Based on the reviewers’ reports and recommendations, the Editorial Board makes the final decision regarding acceptance, request for revision, or rejection of the manuscript.

Authors are duly informed of the editorial decision by the editorial team. Manuscripts that receive negative evaluations are rejected and are not subject to further reconsideration.

Ethics and Integrity

The journal adheres to high standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. Plagiarism, falsification of data, and unethical research practices are strictly prohibited.

All authors are required to ensure the originality of their work and proper citation of sources.

Repository and Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted to deposit the published versions of their articles in institutional, disciplinary, and other academic repositories, as well as on personal websites, provided that proper citation of the original publication is given.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their work. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are properly cited.
